Our Arts & Healthcare Initiative began at Rapides Regional Medical Center in September, 2003. Since then, we have implemented many programs serving patients, their families and staff. Our current activities feature an art gallery in the South Tower where local art is rotated monthly and visits to the Pediatric ward with our art cart.

Please visit the Rapides Regional Art Gallery located in the new South Tower between the lobby and the Emergency Room. In March, we will feature art by students at Ethel Dixon's studio.

During 2010, one of our visual artists will visit the Pediatric ward once a month with the Art Cart.

Due to budget cuts, we are no longer able to provide performances at Rapides Regional. We are very saddened about this and hope to be able to receive the funds to bring this program back soon.
