Friendship House is an Adult Daycare located in Alexandria, LA near Rapides Regional Medical
Center. During 2010,
clients and staff at Friendship House will be treated to the following programs: Dance
with Cassandra Davis Performance by the Gary Cathey Band Balloon making with Michael & Liz from Family Missions Art
Programs with Barry Owen and Sara Fuhrer
Our Alzheimer's Awareness Event on Sunday, November
15, 2009 at Coughlin-Saunders Performing Arts Center was a special and beautiful event. The event featured many of our
Arts & Healthcare Performing Artists sharing their talents on stage. In the lobby was a photographic exhibit
by Sherry McDonald of a year of arts at Friendship House. Each client at Friendship House will be able to present a
portrait of themselves to their families in time for the holidays. We are grateful to all of the organizations who had
booths at the event offering resources to seniors. Many thanks to: HCOA - A Hospice Provider, the Arts Council of Central
Louisiana and Wal Mart for their support of this project and culminating event. All of Sherry McDonald's Friendship House
portraits will be on display at the Rapides Regional South Tower Art Gallery during the month of December. The Dancin' Dames perform a holiday show at Friendship House
